Every once in a while, a unique car graces the
compounds of Rogue Engineering. In this case, it's a 1995 BMW M3 LTW, one
of just 120 ever produced. This one in particular, is unique in that it
only has 11,000 original miles. When it arrived at Rogue Engineering, its
modification list consisted of an aftermarket exhaust, suspension alignment
changes, and track pads.
Over the course of the next few weeks, Rogue
Engineering has been commissioned to transform this already unique vehicle into
a naturally aspirated monster. Some of the plans for this beautiful
example of a very rare car include, but no limited to:
Schrick cams, 24# injectors, Euro HFM, Eurosport Intake and Jim Conforti software
Rogue Engineering LTW Flywheel and
Carbon/Kevlar Clutch Disc
Rogue Engineering OCTANE short shift kit
Rogue Engineering Transmission Mounts
Rogue Engineering Power Pulleys
Rogue Engineering Finned Differential Cover
Rogue Engineering Adjustable Rear Control Arms
European spec, emissions legal exhaust
system (including headers, cats, exhaust)
Michelin Pilot Sport MXX3s 255/40ZR17s added
to the rear
Custom ram air intake duct
Adjustable 22mm rear swaybar with reinforced bushing brackets
Updated E36 M3 Rear Trailing Arm Bushings
StopTech Stainless Steel Brake Lines
BMW Motorsport Floating Front Rotors/BMW Factory Rear Rotors
Axxis Brake Pads
...and much more!
Imagine all of the doable, bolt-on
modifications available for an E36 M3 today and do it all AT ONCE!
At only 2950 lbs. (1/2 tank of gas), this LTW
is close to 300 lbs. lighter than a stock US M3. After more than 300 crank
HP, it will definitely NOT be a typical M3 Lightweight.
Stay tuned as you follow the progress of this
unique and rare project unfold...
