most fun cars I've driven in a long time." - Klaus Schnitzer,

Rogue
Engineering is more than just providing high quality aftermarket components to
the marketplace. We are diehard car guys and continue to enjoy BMW
products. However, in the quest for always improving on already great
platforms, we will always wind up tinkering with something.
Rogue Engineering is not stranger to motor
swaps in BMWs, as a quick glance in our past project cars have shown. As a
matter of fact, motor swapped BMWs wind up being even MORE fun than their stock
counterparts, when done correctly. Our projects have always presented less
issues with operation and performance than average BMWs. Then again, we
tend to be a little fanatical when it comes to the details.
The premise of the E46 M Sport Wagon is exactly
how it sounds: transplant a 333-hp E46 M3 S54 engine into a bone stock E46
325i Touring. Not only has Rogue Engineering done it, but with help from
an elite number of suppliers, modified it beyond that of a typical E46 M3.
Expensive? Yes. To duplicate
this vehicle in its entirety, expect to spend approximately more than $65,000
(including the price of a slightly used wagon).
Fast? E46 M3 power, 3.91 upgraded
rear differential, similar weight to an E46 M3. Add this with the element
of surprise. Those Porsche owners will be shaking their fists at you in
your rear view mirror.
Reliable? The project was to
design a vehicle that BMW AG would produce. Just put in the key and go!
Practical? You bet! Carry
the family and make those trips to the grocery store AND Home Depot!
Exclusive? Absolutely, since this
is currently the only known S54 powered wagon in the US. Because of the
extensive required electronics required to mate the S54's DME to the wagon, this
is not for the faint of heart (or those without the technical information).
Be on the lookout for this vehicle in SoCal,
where it will be with it's new owner!

Yeah, it's still a wagon.
Now it REALLY hauls
ass! |

Where's the rear?
Just before the E46 M3
rear assemble goes in. |

Stock 325i badge gone. |

Does it get any more
classic than BBS RC-Js
with a Brembo setup? |
