This upgrade allows E46 coupe owners (323Ci, 325Ci, 328Ci, 330Ci) to have folding mirrors as seen on the E39 M5. These are slightly different than stock E46 M3 mirrors in that they have an extra motor which allows them to fold using a switch (located inside the car). THIS DOES NOT FIT E46 SEDANS!
Since the procedure of replacing the factory
stock mirrors with standard M3 mirrors has already been documented on the web,
we're going to cover the parts needed to upgrade to the slightly more expensive
folding type.

Pricing above does NOT include painting the
mirrors and bases.
After installation, you can fold up/down your
mirrors from inside the car. However, for an EXTRA cool modifications, you
can purchase an aftermarket circuit board that allows the mirrors to fold UP
with you arm the car with the factory alarm, and fold DOWN when you disarm the
