Engineering exclusively
sells and installs the TC Kline True Match (Single Adjustable) and Smart
Design (Double Adjustable) coilover kits for E36 and E36 vehicles.
Not to be confused with companies that package off the shelf Koni shocks
with any spring, these Koni-built shocks are custom made specifically
for TC Kline. These shocks are in fact so special, that TC Kline
must order these six months in advance direct from Holland. Despite
this long lead time for TC Kline for purchasing these unique shocks,
these are still serviceable by any of the authorized Koni rebuild
centers in the US.
True
Match (Single Adjustable)
With this kit, you can adjust rebound
externally front and rear plus have the added benefits of ride height
adjustability (up to two inches). The True Match System includes
proprietary valved KONI single rebound adjustable shocks and our super
trick VVS alloy springs. The front springs are available in 8
different rates (300# to 650# in 50# increments) whereas the rear
springs are available in 4 different rates (400# to 700# in 100#
increments). This allows for up to 32 different spring
combinations for fine tuning the ride.
Unlike other
coilover systems, the rebound adjusters and wide range of spring rates
enable a true match to your driving needs and preferences.
Encompassing both street comfort and track performance, this kit is
unsurpassed in its class. The TCKR True Match Kit includes Front
Struts, Rear Shocks, Springs, in your choice of available rates. TCKR
Rear Height Adjustors and specially formulated Buna rubber rear
mounts. Rear mounts may be upgraded to TCKR monoball rear mounts. (Monoball
mounts offer better shock control at the expense of some street
comfort.)
Smart Design (Double
Adjustable)
Proven
on the street and track, this system is unmatched by any other system
on the market. TC Kline’s unique Smart Shock technology mated with
our VVS alloy springs make this ride height adjustable
kit the most versatile available. Incorporating separate external
compression and rebound adjusters, the shocks can be dialed from street
comfort to a full race setup in minutes. These
features combined with our complete selection of VVS alloy spring
rates make this kit the uncompromising choice for both street comfort
and track performance.
The Smart Design System is perfect for driving
school enthusiasts, autocrossers, club racers, and serious pro racers
alike. We can also build Double Adjustable Struts and Shocks for
use with stock diameter springs for competition classes which require
stock configuration. Kit includes TCKR Height Adjustment and Buna
rubber rear mounts and Proprietary KONI Double Adjustable Shocks. Buna
rubber rear mounts may be upgraded to TCKR Monoball
rear mounts.

Application Notes
- All TC Kline coilover kits we sell are
upgraded with Rogue Engineering RSM Plates. We remachine the
TC Kline rear shock mounts so that the Rogue Engineering RSM plates
can be utilized, with ease of installation and security of
protecting the shock tower.
- Double Adjustable rear shocks tend
to make a very soft "clunk" sound over small, low speed
bumps. The noise goes away at normal driving speeds.
This is NOT indication that anything is broken, but more of the fact
that they are truly race-tuned shocks. Some customers have
even gone to extra lengths as to purchase single adjustable rears to
use on the street, and swap in double adjustable rears for the
track. This is also not an issue in E92 vehicles.
- Whereas these coilovers can be used
with stock factory strut hats, the use of TC Kline camber plates
allow for a lower height, thus allowing for lowering the front end
even more. Additionally, it allows for exacting camber
adjustments (even if being used on the street). On vehicles
that have seen front end damage (accidents, broken wheels,
suspension replacements, unknown previous owner history), this can
be very important since stock factory strut hats have no ability to
adjust for camber.

you're ready to go.
