How does the Sprint Booster Work?
Sprint Booster is engineered to enhance the driving experience by providing increased acceleration time (eliminating delay/throttle lag) on drive-by-wire cars by continuously measuring and converting the digital signal and providing the ECM (Electronic Control Module) with a new and altered signal for much quicker response. Sprint Booster improves response, increases pedal input sensitivity and delivers more impressive off the line performance you can really feel. In simple terms... when you hit the gas the car reacts immediately! The Sprint Booster eliminates the 1 second delay most cars have between when pressure is applied to the gas pedal and the car actually responds.

Is the Sprint Booster easy to install?
Sprint Booster is a plug-n-play electronic device which is installed behind the accelerator pedal. It requires no special tools, computer skills or cutting of any wires. The device snaps in and snaps out with no function overlap. It is a simple plug-n-play installation that takes just minutes and delivers instant response throughout the power band, making accelerating and rev matching incredibly more fun. Installation is an easy process and does not affect the electronic system of your car (injection, ABS, etc...). The device can be removed just as easy restoring the car back to stock with no sign of the product ever being installed.

The boost selector can be detached (the last value will be saved).

The New Sprint Booster Now has 3 Selectable Settings!
The new Sprint Boosters now come with a selectable switch that allows drivers to change between 3 settings.

Factory: Sprint Booster is inactive, vehicles normal response. No LED illuminated.
Sport: Offers better response than Factory with smooth driving. Green LED illuminated.
Race: Full Boost, best response for aggressive driving completely eliminating throttle delay. Red LED illuminated.

NOTE: If customers prefer to not use the switch it can easily be removed (full boost is default).

The selectable switch can be mounted anywhere with the use of double sided tape. The driver will be able to select between the 3 acceleration programs by pushing the LED button. The Race setting is the default setting once installed. By pressing the LED button once, full boost "Race" mode is turned off and the factory setting mode is activated. If the button is pressed once more the semi-boost program "Sport" is activated. Drivers can switch through the settings to achieve their preference in driving mode. The instructions that come with every unit recommend strongly that the car is idling when driving modes are changed. The adjustable switch can be installed or removed at any time in which case the pedal will retain the last setting before disconnection.

Will Sprint Booster increase horsepower?
Sprint Booster will not increase horsepower. It's designed to increase throttle response and eliminate throttle lag in the low to mid rpm range. This makes vehicles feel faster giving you a smoother more powerful feel when applying pressure to the throttle. Most cars have a 1 second lag between when you step on the gas pedal and the car actually reacts. The Sprint Booster eliminates this problem giving you immediate response. This helps with quick gear changes, pulling into traffic, passing other vehicles, up-hill starts and basically makes your daily commute a blast!

Will Sprint Booster Upgrade my software?
No, Sprint Booster is a hardware based product. This is a plug-n-play device that installs in only minutes between the accelerator pedal module and the harness (instructions are included). It can be removed just as easy restoring the car back to stock with no sign of the product ever being installed.

Is Sprint Booster better than an ECU upgrade?
Installing a Sprint Booster and upgrading your ECU both have different advantages. Sprint Booster is designed for daily driving and gives the most benefit in the low to mid rpm range. During daily driving the Sprint Booster eliminates throttle lag giving the driver instant acceleration when stepping on the gas pedal - this makes passing easier, allows for quicker shifting, makes uphill starts easier and makes your daily drive fun again. An ECU upgrade will give great benefits to competitive or regular track driving. Upgrading your ECU will increase your cars horsepower and will help most in the mid to high rpm range where you spend most of your time on the track, not the street.
