We are proud to offer the Rogue Engineering ELS RASP pipe for the E46 M3!  Do you want your car to have a smooth tone below 5000rpm (like the sound of a V6) while the exhaust tone above 6000rpm changes to a scream of a baby V12!  This is your unique solution!  We hope to have video/sound soon!

Designed for vehicles with the BMW OEM Factory European Exhaust Manifolds (and US BMW catted manifolds), the ELS RASP pipe equalizes the tube lengths at the Section 1 mid-pipe!  As you can see in the image below, there is a large difference after merge collectors of Bank 1 and Bank 2 manifolds.  This is one of the design traits of an inline-6 engine.  This difference in length (Bank 1 is 9.5" longer than Bank 2 after the merge), is part of the reason for the particular sound of the exhaust.

By strategically adding 9.5" of additional tubing into the Section 1 midpipe (on the Bank 2 side), we are able to then equalize the exhaust flow and tone coming out of the exhaust manifold!

FITMENT ISSUE!
For those with AA exhaust header manifolds, there is a confirmed fitment issue!  The headers terminate too HIGH up against the chassis making it harder to fit these (and our other 2.5" diameter Section 1 RASP pipe).
