On BMW E46 vehicles from 1999-2001, the top of the strut towers have "bumps" that are engineered into them. This is normally not an issue, expect with certain kids of strut tower bars.
Our "bumpy spacer" is designed to fill the small spaces between the strut tower bumps, allowing for a perfectly flat surface for maximum contact with particular strut tower braces.
Made from 3mm carbon fiber compressed laminate, these are specifically designed to fit between the bumpy areas of the early generation strut towers to allow for a fully "flat" surface for specific kinds of strut tower braces. This increases the braces surface area rather than just touching 3 points on the tower. Each spacer weighs just 34g.
