Say Buh-Bye to the Differential Clunk
When E36 and E46 M3s get older, one of the bushings that start failing are the two bushings pressed into the rear differential cover. These rubber bushings are not meant to last forever, while the factory replacements do offer quite a cushion for the rear support of the differential.
Rogue Engineering has developed pair of replacement bushing that installs into the rear cover preventing the movement from the slop of a worn or broken rubber factory bushing. Our Shore 94A urethane bushing includes a 6061 aluminum insert that not only prevents the unwanted movement, but also without additional NVH often times seen with solid mounts (such as Delrin or full aluminum).
These bushings are also compatible with the Rogue Engineering E36 Differential Cover.
This bushing replaces the factory bushing # 33-17-1-134-872 as well as the bushings found in the E46 M3 cover (not sold separately from the factory).
These bushings as sold as a pair.
