The BMW S54 engine is notorious for it's 100hp/liter performance but also known for it's shortcomings. One of them being the required maintenance to keep the performance at the very top. Rogue Engineering upgraded S54 Vanos Hardware Kit
One such thing is the Vanos hub hardware kit. Over time, the hub hardware is susceptible to failure and require replacement. One way of determining Vanos attention is by sound...a notorious rattle becomes louder and louder, almost as if it's trying to tell you to say it needs to be addressed.
Even though BMW updated the socket head cap screws years ago, we have actually had our own versions custom which are 17% stronger. They are also yellow-zinc'd.
The kit is sold as a complete set of 24 screws, 12 socket head cap screws and 12 hex head cap screws.
