The story of our roll bar begins WAY before the roll bar became to exist. This begins when one of the owners of Rogue Engineering met the head fabricator of what became our Carbon Fiber Widebody track car. This fabricator was working for Turner Motorsport (when it was in MA at the time) and his name is Stefan Foord.
When Stefan left TMS, we wound up making contact and commissioned him to make us our first roll bars, while he was working out of his small shop at home. This was challenging since he had plenty of experience, he did not have a lot of time. While still working as a full-time mechanic, he would have to find time to not only work on customer's paying him to build cages all while also being a father and a husband. As you can imagine, producing roll bars in "production" was a challenge. With only 24 hours in a day, 7 days a week, Stefan has the patience one could only dream about. He was ultimately able to produce a handful of these works of metallic art for us, all with the watchful eye and careful experience a racecar fabricator would have.
As we close out 2024, we are sad to say that the production and possibility of more bars is no longer. Due to a medical issue, Stefan has had to retire his welding torch and unfortunately close his business and deal with just surviving. If you feel that you would like to help the cause, click below.
Rogue Engineering Bolt-In Roll Bar
Proudly design and produced exclusively for us in the US, we normally STOCK these so you do not have to wait! They can be picked up in our Upper Saddle River, NJ facility or shipped by truck freight to your location (freight fees are additional).
These bars are a MUST for anyone with fixed-back racing seats. If you are using only a harness bar, you are risking your life at the track.
- Made from 1.75" DOM tubing.
- Meticulously TIG and MIG welded.
- Uses CNC'd off-road tube clamps (puzzle joints) to join legs together.
- Harnesses bar and diagonal welded in place (cannot be removed, no option for removal)
- Raw finish. Powdercoating at additional cost.
- Largest base plates in the industry!
- Backing plates already powdercoated black.
- Hardware included.
Note that these roll bars are NOT to be the basis for a full cage! If you have plans for a full cage in the future, it should be done by first removing this bar! This bar has not been engineered to handle the loads of a full cage construction, but more to assist the occupant in a roll over as well as mounting harnesses.
